Chris Kirby

Chris Kirby has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Starting in 2023, they worked as a Lead Product Designer in New Ventures at Medibank. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Product Designer at Cash App from 2022 to 2023, where they led the design of data-rich display interfaces and developed a design system. From 2020 to 2021, Chris was the Head of Product Design at ECH Inc., focusing on creating digital interfaces for aged care. chris also worked as the Lead Product Designer at Billy and Director of Product Design at Alert Labs Inc. Additionally, Chris has experience as the Lead of the User Experience Design Team at Christie Digital Systems and as an Industrial Designer and Researcher at Form3 Design Inc. Overall, Chris Kirby has demonstrated expertise in product design, user experience, and design system development.

Chris Kirby has a Bachelor of Design in Industrial Design from Emily Carr University of Art and Design. They also hold a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from The University of British Columbia, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from Queen's University. Chris also has a P.Eng. certification from PEO - Professional Engineers Ontario.
