Liliya Kopel

Liliya Kopel is an experienced R&D Team Leader at Medibrane Ltd since July 2016, leading a team of materials and mechanical engineers in the development of prototypes for the medical device industry, particularly focusing on polymers and adhesives. Liliya possesses substantial expertise in vendor collaboration, experimental design and analysis, manufacturing process definition, quality testing, and production transfer. Before this role, Liliya served as a Materials Engineer at Medibrane Ltd, where processes for adhesion and stent coating were established from scratch. Prior to joining Medibrane, Liliya was a Materials Engineer and Officer in the Israel Defense Forces from February 2009 to July 2016, designing specialized solutions and leading multi-disciplinary projects involving a variety of engineering disciplines. Liliya holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Materials Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, earned between 2003 and 2008.
