Penny Wessley

Penny Wessley is an experienced compliance professional currently serving as the Director of Corporate Compliance at Medica since March 2023. Previously, Penny held the position of Compliance Manager at Lucent Health from December 2019 to March 2023 and spent over a decade at UnitedHealthcare, ascending to the role of Associate Director of Compliance. Responsibilities included overseeing functional compliance programs, directing prevention, detection, and correction efforts, managing regulatory affairs, and leading cross-functional project teams to implement operational compliance activities. Penny holds a Bachelor of Letters and Science degree in Sociology and Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh and a Paralegal Post Baccalaureate Certificate from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College.
