Sowedi Muyingo

Sowedi Muyingo serves as the Executive Director of Medical Access Uganda Limited since 1998, leading the establishment of an HIV/AIDS Drug Access logistical system under a United Nations project. Previous roles include Vice President at Axios International, where strategic direction for donations and drug logistics was managed, and Director of Operations, coordinating various HIV/AIDS drug access projects. Sowedi's experience also encompasses Logistics and Financial Management Specialist at USAID, Drug Registration and Assessment Pharmacist at the National Drug Regulatory Authority, and Pharmacist Director at Mepha Ltd and Novartis. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Master of Business Administration from Makerere University, along with a Master of Public Health from The Johns Hopkins University.
