Denelle Dixon

Denelle Dixon is the current CEO and Executive Director at Stellar Development Foundation. Prior to this, she worked at Mozilla, Terra Firma, and Yahoo!. Dixon began her career as a Partner at Folger Levin & Kahn LLP in 1998. In her time there, she worked closely with the business on product review and product strategy for front page, messenger, mail, and media. Additionally, she managed a team of lawyers working with properties, copyright strategy and policy, licensing agreements, outside copyright litigation, and human rights litigation. In 2007, Dixon left Folger Levin & Kahn to join Yahoo! as her Senior Legal Director. Denelle continued her work in product review and product strategy for front page, messenger, mail, and media. In 2010, Dixon left Yahoo! to join Terra Firma as her Director of US legal strategy. There she worked closely with the business on product review and product strategy for front page, messenger, mail, and media. Additionally, she managed a team of lawyers working with properties, copyright strategy and policy, licensing agreements, outside copyright litigation, and human rights litigation. Dixon left Terra Firma in 2012 to join Mozilla as her CEO and Executive Director.

Denelle Dixon has a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from University of California, Hastings College of the Law and a BA in Political Science from University of California, Davis.
