Michael von Fricken

Michael Von Fricken is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Florida College of Public Health and Health Professions. Michael has experience working as a Research Associate at the Smithsonian Institution and as a Technical Advisor/Consultant at Medical Care Development International. Michael has also held positions at George Mason University and Duke University. Michael's educational background includes a Postdoctoral Associate degree in Infectious Diseases from Duke University School of Medicine, a Ph.D. in Environmental and Global Health from the University of Florida, an MPH in Epidemiology from the University of Florida, and a Bachelor of Science in Health Services/Allied Health/Health Sciences from James Madison University.
