Michele Bender

Michele Bender, PharmD, serves as an Emergency Medicine Clinical Pharmacist at Medical Center Health System since July 2022, following completion of a PGY-2 Emergency Medicine Pharmacy Residency. Prior experience includes a PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency at Hackensack University Medical Center from July 2021 to June 2022 and a role as a Pharmacy Technician at Edgewood Pharmacy from August 2016 to May 2021. Michele Bender has also participated in various externships, including an Ambulatory Care APPE Extern at Barnabas Health Ambulatory Care Center and a Knight Scholar APPE Extern at Penn Medicine Princeton Health, where involvement included internal medicine, critical care, hospital dispensing, and emergency medicine rotations, as well as collaborative research projects.Additionally, Michele Bender was a GIFT Intern at Hackensack Meridian Health during the summer of 2019. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from Rutgers University, completed in 2021.
