Eddie Rain

Eddie Rain is an accomplished procurement professional with extensive experience in strategic sourcing and supply chain management. Currently serving as the Director of Purchasing and Payables at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Eddie leads the Purchasing and Accounts Payable teams and oversees the implementation of Procure-to-Pay components as part of a new Workday ERP system. Prior experience includes roles at Komatsu, where Eddie held positions such as Senior Manager of Indirect Procurement & Supplier Systems and Global Category Manager, managing over $600M in indirect procurement spend. Additional roles at Carlstar Group LLC and MTD Products involved oversight of procurement and logistics, contributing to significant cost savings and the management of substantial annual spend across various categories. Eddie holds a BS/BA degree in Finance from The University of Akron.
