Nathan Berken

Nathan Berken is an experienced government relations professional currently serving as Vice President of Government Relations at the Medical College of Wisconsin since June 2013. In this role, Nathan develops the institutional strategy for government relations, defines priorities at various government levels, and collaborates with leadership and faculty. Previously, Nathan held positions such as Interim Vice President of Government and Community Relations and Director of Government Relations at the same institution, focusing on external advocacy and legislative activities. Before joining the Medical College of Wisconsin, Nathan worked as a Government Affairs Associate at Hoven Consulting Inc., advocating for multiple clients, and as a Legislative and Research Assistant for the Wisconsin State Assembly. Nathan began a career in public service early on, also managing a successful campaign for the State Assembly. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Music from Northwestern University and a Master's degree in Music from the New England Conservatory of Music.
