Sarah Aune

Sarah Aune is currently serving as a Resident Physician at the Medical College of Wisconsin since July 2022. Aune has extensive experience in research, having worked as a Research Assistant at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health since July 2012, where involvement included study participant recruitment, coordination of study visits, and data management. Additionally, Aune has contributed to nonprofit initiatives as the Communications and Fundraising Coordinator for Mother's Milk of the Western Great Lakes, enhancing organizational visibility and managing fundraising efforts. Aune has also held roles as a Medical Scribe at Madison Emergency Physicians, providing critical documentation support, and as a First Year Representative for the KCOM Neuropsych Club, demonstrating leadership and community engagement. Aune’s educational background includes a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from A.T. Still University and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from St. Olaf College. Aune actively participates in community music as a violinist with both the Middleton Community Orchestra and the St. Olaf Orchestra.
