Wei Liu

Wei Liu is a distinguished academic in the field of molecular oncogenesis, currently serving as the Joseph F. Heil, Jr. Endowed Chair and Associate Professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin since January 2022. Prior to this role, Wei Liu held positions as Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at Arizona State University from December 2014 to December 2021, and as a Staff Scientist at The Scripps Research Institute from June 2008 to December 2014. Wei Liu's expertise encompasses membrane protein crystallization, structural studies of G protein-coupled receptors, and the development of advanced technologies in microcrystallography and protein characterization. Wei Liu's academic journey began with a Doctor of Philosophy in Biophysics from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacology from Wuhan University.
