Kristen Abel

Kristen Abel currently serves as the Manager of Talent Management at The Canadian Medical Protective Association, a position held since January 2023, after previously working as a Talent Specialist in Projects & Analytics. Since May 2016, Kristen has been with the Medical Council of Canada, advancing from Senior Total Rewards Analyst to People Operations Manager. Prior experience includes roles at Bombardier Inc. as a Global Mobility Advisor in Policy Governance and Account Management, as well as Global Mobility Consultant at Ernst & Young. Kristen began the professional journey at KPMG, progressing to Supervisor of the HR Contact Center. Educationally, Kristen obtained a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from McGill University after completing studies at CEGEP - John Abbott College.
