Dave Ferrell

SVP, North America Operations at Medical Depot, Inc.

Dave Ferrell began his career in manufacturing in 1999 at General Electric, where he first worked as a member of the Steam Turbine/Generator manufacturing team in Schenectady, NY. In 2001, he relocated to Pensacola, FL to support the start-up of the business’s new generator manufacturing operation. Ferrell earned his Black Belt certification in 2002 and in 2003, he became a Quality Leader for the Service Shops organization in Atlanta, GA. In 2005, Dave was named the plant manager for the Ft. Edward, NY plant. In 2010, he was named both the Global Operation Manager and Manager for the Design & Development Shops of the GE Global Research Center in Niskayuna, New York and all nine other locations throughout the world. In 2015, Dave was named Plant Manager & Controls Global Supply Chain Leader at the GE Power Automation & Controls manufacturing site in Salem, VA.

Ferrell retired from GE in June 2019 due to the closing of the Salem, VA. Prior to joining GE, Dave served 13 years on active duty as a U.S. Army Infantryman and U.S. Special Forces officer. Concurrent to joining GE, Dave joined the National Guard where he served an additional nine years. Dave retired from the Army in 2008 as a Lieutenant Colonel with 22 years of service.

Ferrell earned a B.A. in Business Administration from Ohio University and an M.B.A. from the University of Maryland.
