Geoff Moodie

Geoff Moodie has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Geoff currently serves as the Director of Biocompatibility at Eurofins since October 2020. Prior to this role, they held the position of Vice President of Programs at the Medical Development Group of Boston from November 2016 to the present. Before that, they worked as the Assistant Vice President of Programs from 2015 to November 2016 at the same company.

Geoff also has experience in the pharmaceutical industry, having worked as the Design Engineering Associate Director at Vertex Pharmaceuticals from July 2020 to September 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Associate Director of Biocompatibility at Semma Therapeutics from September 2019 to July 2020.

Geoff's earlier professional experience includes a significant tenure at Getinge Group (formerly Atrium Medical Corp) from May 2000 to September 2019. Geoff held the role of Sr. Principal Scientist Non-Clinical Testing & Biocompatibility. In this role, they worked collaboratively with a cross-functional team to develop new medical devices and managed project timelines and budgets.

Before their work at Getinge Group, Geoff worked as a Computer Consultant at Union Carbide from 1990 to 1993. In this role, they were responsible for computer hardware and software installation, upgrades, and research, as well as database construction for a package testing system.

Overall, Geoff Moodie has a strong background in biocompatibility, program management, engineering, and consulting across various industries including healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and research.

Geoff Moodie holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Medical Science from Brown University. Geoff also has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
