Tara Eversole-Ekl Mt (ASCP)

Tara Eversole-Ekl MT(ASCP) has over two decades of experience in laboratory management and quality assurance. Currently serving as the Lab QA Manager at Texas Health Physician's Group Lab since February 2010, Tara prepares the pathology lab for CLIA inspections and acts as the CAP/CLIA expert for both clinical and pathology labs. Previous experience includes working at MD Pathology in Flow Cytometry, where responsibilities involved assisting pathologists with testing startup, as well as a Training Specialist role at Olympus, providing training on laboratory equipment operation and maintenance. Additional roles include Lab Supervisor at Clinical Health Laboratory, overseeing operational aspects while directly managing a team, and Laboratory Generalist at PrimaCare Medical Centers, where Point of Care testing was performed. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Bioenvironmental Science from Texas A&M University System Health Science Center and an AAS in Medical Technology from Grayson College.
