Laura Jelle

With over 30 years’ experience across healthcare, biotechnology, and microbiology manufacturing industries, Laura came to MEI, Inc. in March 2019 as the Director of Market Development and became CEO in October 2020. Before coming to MEI, Inc., Laura held executive positions at SSM Health – St. Clare Hospital, Xylan, Inc. and Gibco Diagnostic Laboratories. She is high-performing, results-driven, forward thinking leader with exceptional organizational skills and a solid track record of success in quality management, regulatory affairs/compliance, building and operationalizing profitable service capabilities, driving organizational effectiveness to new levels, and cultivating strategic alliances needed for company acquisitions and growth.

Laura has a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from Indiana State University, a Master of Science in Bacteriology From University of Wisconsin – Madison and a Ph.D.in Healthcare Administration from Kennedy Western University.
