Aldre Koekemoer

Aldre Koekemoer is a skilled and dedicated perioperative nurse specialist currently employed at Mediclinic since February 2021, focusing on enhancing patient outcomes through comprehensive surgical care. With experience as a registered nurse in a specialized theatre unit, Aldre has developed expertise in general, vascular, and maxillofacial surgery, and has worked in various multidisciplinary surgical environments. Additionally, Aldre has ICU experience as a professional nurse at MHR and has contributed as a guest lecturer for The Apprentice Doctor, sharing knowledge and insights on the theatre environment. Previous roles include serving as a community service professional nurse at Wesfleur Hospital and as a clinical facilitator at North-West University, specializing in clinical anatomy and physiology. Aldre is currently pursuing an MBA in Healthcare Management at MANCOSA and holds a postgraduate diploma in perioperative nursing from Stellenbosch University.
