Derek Yarmis is currently serving as the Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Medical Mutual Liability Insurance Soc. of MD. Previously, Derek worked as an Administrative Appeals Judge at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Derek's extensive experience in regulatory litigation for insurers includes representing clients in various hearings and examinations, as well as providing counseling on regulatory issues. Derek holds a JD from the University of Baltimore School of Law and a BS in Emergency Health Services from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
