Alexandra Hoopes

Alexandra Hoopes, MPH, currently serves as the Lead Population Health Science Analyst at Medical Mutual since January 2024, and maintains a position as the OSAM Akron/Canton Regional Epidemiologist at the Ohio Department of Mental Health & Addiction Services, contributing to the understanding of local substance abuse trends through qualitative interviews and focus groups. With prior experience at Highmark Health as the Lead Clinical & Population Health Analyst and as an OSAM Cleveland Regional Epidemiologist, Alexandra has developed expertise in driving analytics for population health and identifying healthcare improvement strategies. Additional roles include Population Health and Evaluation Analyst II at Medical Mutual, Healthcare Data Analyst at NCI, Inc., and various caregiving positions, laying a comprehensive foundation in public health and epidemiology. Alexandra holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health-Epidemiology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Kent State University.
