Ryland Byars

Ryland Byars has a strong background in the information technology and security field. Ryland currently serves as the Director of Information Technology and Security at Medical Properties Trust, Inc. starting from May 2014. Prior to this, they had an extensive tenure at InfoSmart, Inc. where they held the position of President from August 1996 to May 2014. Before joining InfoSmart, Inc., Ryland worked at BellSouth Telecommunications as a Manager for the Mechanization Group. During their time at BellSouth, they managed and coordinated the development, implementation, and use of a PC-based billing system for the 1996 Olympics. Ryland also managed the Olympic Support Center Remote Service Centers. Ryland Byars began their career at BellSouth in December 1983 and left in August 1996.
