Doreen Wise

Doreen Wise has had a long and successful career in business. In 1979, they began their career as a Nurse Psychotherapist and Co-Owner at Village Mental Health Associates. In 1983, they founded and became the Board Chair of Medical Research Consultants. In 2000, they founded Gabriel's Gifts, now known as Texas Center for the Missing. In 2011, they joined the Board of Directors at Slow Dough Bread Company. In 2012, they joined the Board of Directors at Slow Dough Bread Company. In 2013, they returned to the Board of Directors at College Forward as Chair of the Development Committee. Doreen is also the Principal of DJW Properties.

Doreen Wise began their educational journey in 1960 when they graduated with a diploma from VBHS. Doreen then went on to earn their BSN from Vanderbilt University in 1968. In 1969, they obtained their MSN from California State University, Los Angeles in Mental Health Nursing and Education. Finally, they completed their EdD from Baylor Med + U of Houston in 1982 in Education and Administration.
