Hunter Boone has a strong background in the healthcare industry, with a focus on hospice care. Hunter started their career in 1999 as a Projects Manager at Rustic Attitude, where they worked until 2004. In 2006, they joined Glenbridge Health and Rehabilitation as a Certified Nursing Assistant, staying there until 2009. Hunter then moved to PruittHealth, where they took on various roles including Volunteer Coordinator from 2010 to 2012, RN Case Manager from 2012 to 2013, and Director of Health Services from 2013 to 2014. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Operations for Hospice at Medical Services of America, starting in 2014.
Hunter Boone has a strong education background with multiple degrees in various fields. Starting in 2004, Boone attended Appalachian State University and obtained Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Chemistry, which they completed in 2009 and 2008, respectively. Following this, from 2009 to 2012, Boone attended Pitt Community College and earned an Associate's degree in Nursing Practice. Boone later returned to Appalachian State University and pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing Practice from 2012 to 2013. Most recently, from 2022 to 2024, Boone enrolled at Appalachian State University again, this time for a Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management.
