Travis Schmidt

Travis oversees the production and operational activities for Aureus Nursing, a division of Aureus Medical and one of Medical Solutions’ family of brands. He is responsible for increasing customer care and service, attracting and retaining skilled staff, improving workforce performance, and driving employee engagement. Travis joined Aureus Nursing in 2004 and the Medical Solutions organization in 2019 following its acquisition of C&A Industries. He brings more than 18 years of healthcare staffing and recruiting experience, having previously served in various sales positions for Aureus Medical, including branch manager, regional manager, and director of sales. Travis holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and marketing from Southwest Minnesota State University. He served as the vice president of baseball for the Bennington Athletic League, a non-profit organization, from 2016 to 2021.
