Trina Newcomb

Trina Newcomb has a strong background in the humanitarian and non-profit sector. TRINA has held various roles at different organizations, including Medical Teams International and World Relief. Trina began their career in 2007 as the Director of Programs and Communications at World Relief and worked there until 2011. TRINA then joined Medical Teams International in 2011 as the Africa Program Manager before transitioning to the role of Humanitarian Response Program Manager in 2015. Trina joined World Relief again in 2016 as the Iraq Monitoring & Reporting Advisor, and later, in 2019, they took on the position of Program Manager at Medical Teams International. Most recently, Trina has been serving as the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at Medical Teams International since May 2022.

Trina Newcomb completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Trinity Western University between 1996 and 2000. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Refugee Protection and Forced Migration from the University of London, which they completed from 2016 to 2019.
