Jenny Ann Smoak

Jenny Ann Smoak, MHA, has extensive experience in health administration, currently serving as Administrator for the Department of Anesthesia & Perioperative Medicine and Administrator for Anesthesia ICCE at the Medical University of South Carolina since June 2019. Previously, Smoak held the position of Senior Director of Business Initiatives/Operations Support at MUSC Health from February 2018 to May 2019, and prior roles included Director of Business Initiatives, Manager of Business Analytics, and Senior Business Analyst at the Medical University of South Carolina from August 2009 to February 2018. Early career experience includes a role as Human Resources Assistant, as well as an internship with Roper St. Francis Healthcare. Smoak earned a Master’s in Health Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina and a Bachelor’s in Management from Clemson University.
