Rebekah Shinta

Rebekah Shinta currently serves as the Vice Chair for Finance and Administration in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina, a position held since December 2013. Rebekah is responsible for financial management, faculty recruitment, grants management, human resources, and clinical practice oversight. Previous experience includes a Project Manager role at Ralph H Johnson VA Medical Center, overseeing a national clinical trial on Traumatic Brain Injury, and various positions at the Medical University of South Carolina, including Business/Grant Manager and Program Coordinator for Employee Wellness. Rebekah holds an MHA in Health Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina and a B.S. in Finance from the University of South Carolina.
