UAB Medical West is an acute care community hospital offering a wide range of diagnostic, surgical, medical, and emergency services. Primary care physicians, specialists, and sub-specialists have offices located on UAB Medical West’s main campus as well as 17 satellite health centers and a Freestanding Emergency Department in the area. Medical West is located off of I-20/59, Exit 108 in Bessemer. We are thrilled to announce that our brand new state-of-the-art hospital will be opening in August of 2024 off of Exit 1/ I-459.
