Philip Xiu

Philip Xiu has a wealth of experience in the medical field. From 2009 to 2010, they were an Interviewer and Supervisor for Medical & Natural Sciences Students at the University of Cambridge. Philip then co-founded the United Kingdom Medical Students Association in 2010, where they served as a Board Member. In 2011, they co-founded the website MinistryofEthics.co.uk, which was featured by the GMC. From 2017 to 2019, they worked for Medicalchain as the Chief Medical Officer and for the NHS as a General Practitioner. Since 2010, they have been Editor-in-Chief of Elsevier UK's Order Set Platform. Philip is also a Series Co-Editor of Crash Course: 5th Ed.

Philip Xiu completed their Masters in Clinical Education from The University of Edinburgh between 2018 and 2022. Prior to that, they obtained an MB BChir degree in Medicine from the University of Cambridge between 2007 and 2011. Philip also obtained a BA (Hons) degree in Medical Sciences from the University of Cambridge between 2005 and 2007. Their educational journey began with Leeds Grammar School, where they studied from 1997 to 2005. Philip Xiu also holds certifications from various institutions, such as the NIHR (National Institute for Health Research) for Introduction to Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Advance HE for Fellow of HEA (FHEA), Academy of Medical Educators for MAcadMEd, and The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) for MBA Essentials.
