Robert Winthrop has a wealth of experience in finance and government-related roles. Robert started their career in the New York City Mayor's Office of Management and Budget as a Unit Head. Robert also served in the United States Army Reserve as a Major in the Finance Corps. Robert has worked as a Senior Managing Consultant at Public Financial Management and as Director of Resource Planning and Analysis at the Portland Police Bureau. Robert was a Network Member and Consultant at Public Strategies Group and held various roles at Kaiser Permanente, including Director of Managerial Consulting. Robert was also a Senior Fellow at the Hatfield School of Government, Portland State University, where they led projects and research for the Center for Public Service. Currently, they are the Director of Finance, Value at Medically Home, where they help explain the financial value of Hospital at Home Services to stakeholders of the organization.
Robert Winthrop holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Robert also obtained a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in Public Finance from New York University. Additionally, Robert has certifications in Process Improvement Green Belt from IHI and Certified Technical Specialist in Business Intelligence from Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).
