Tobias Ortmaier

Tobias Ortmaier is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the robotics and technology sectors. As a co-founder of voraus robotik GmbH since April 2022, Ortmaier has also been a business angel for several companies, including oculai, medicalvalues GmbH, Wingfield, and MODUM. Previously, Ortmaier co-founded Yuanda Robotics GmbH and served as Chief Technical Officer at avateramedical Digital Solutions GmbH, where advancement to Senior Vice President for R&D and then CTO for the entire group occurred. Ortmaier's academic background includes a Diplom-Ingenieur in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Munich and a notable tenure as Head of the Institute of Mechatronic Systems at Leibniz Universität Hannover from October 2008 to December 2020.
