Coburn Allen

Dr. Coburn Allen has held a variety of roles in the medical field since 2011. In 2011, they began working at US Acute Care Solutions as a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician and National Director of Pediatric Services. In 2012, they joined Dell Children's Medical Group as a Pediatric Infectious Diseases Faculty. In 2013, they began working at both Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin as a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship Director and Ascension Health Texas as Chair of Human Subjects Research Institutional Review Board. In 2021, they joined Medici as their Chief Medical Officer.

Dr. Coburn Allen attended Baylor College of Medicine from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained their Doctor of Medicine - MD. Dr. Coburn then returned to Baylor College of Medicine from 1994 to 2001 for their Residency in Pediatrics, as well as Fellowships in PEM and PID.
