Mike Strange

Mike Strange is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in global health and research management. Currently serving as Managing Director at Medicines Discovery Catapult since February 2025, Mike previously held key positions such as Head of Global Health at LifeArc, leading a significant initiative focused on antimicrobial resistance and other health threats. Mike’s tenure at GSK included roles as Vice President and Head of Global Health Catalyst, where responsibilities encompassed business operations, partnerships, and product strategy, along with leadership of the Africa Non-communicable Diseases initiative. Mike's early career at QinetiQ involved leading a research program for the UK Ministry of Defence. Academic qualifications include an MBA from London Business School and a PhD in Applied Mathematics from the University of Hull.
