Alessandro Torchio, Ph.D., has a strong background in research and engineering. Alessandro is currently working as a Quality and R&D Biomedical Engineer at Medics since October 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Research Fellow at Politecnico di Torino, starting in January 2017. During their time there, they held various roles, including being a PhD research fellow from October 2017 to May 2021. Alessandro also gained experience as a Tirocinante at a Dental school from March 2014 to June 2014.

Alessandro Torchio, Ph.D. obtained a Dottorato di ricerca in Bioingegneria e scienze medico-chirurgiche from Politecnico di Torino, which they pursued from 2017 to 2021. Prior to that, they completed a Laurea Magistrale LM in Ingegneria biomedica/medica from Politecnico di Torino from 2014 to 2016. Their undergraduate degree, a Laurea triennale in Ingegneria Biomedica, was also earned from Politecnico di Torino, where they studied Bioingegneria e ingegneria biomedica from 2011 to 2014. Additionally, Alessandro Torchio has obtained the certification of CSWA - Certified SolidWorks Associate from Dassault Systemes in May 2018.
