Andrew Smith

Andrew Smith has a diverse work experience in the technology sector. Andrew is currently the Head of Engineering at Medicus Health since April 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at Prismea Limited from March 2020 to April 2023. Andrew also had a long tenure at Medidata Solutions, where they held various roles including Senior Director of Engineering, Development Director, Senior Manager of Development, Development Manager, and Senior Software Engineer. Andrew'sresponsibilities at Medidata Solutions included leading engineering teams, collaborating with the product management team, and contributing to enterprise-wide architecture design. Before joining Medidata Solutions, Andrew worked at Anite as a Software Architect, focusing on architectural design and development of government tax and benefit products. Andrew started their career at Syngenta as a Software Developer, where they were involved in the development and testing of research computational chemistry modeling and visualization tools.

Andrew Smith attended the University of Bath from 1994 to 1998 and obtained a BSc degree in Maths and Computing. In 2010, they also obtained the certification of Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance.
