Simon Beer

Simon Beer is an experienced professional in client service and project management, currently serving as a Client Service Principal at Medidata Solutions since February 2007, with prior roles including Senior Engagement Director, Director of Client Services, and Project Director. Simon has established strong relationships with diverse client teams, providing expert consultation to major clients on business change and technology projects that realize cost savings and benefits. Previously, Simon worked at Merck Sharp & Dohme from February 1996 to January 2007 as a Senior Project Manager and A&IT Manager, overseeing capital investment projects and managing employees. Early career experience includes serving as a Senior Engineer and Production Supervisor at Celltech from February 1990 to December 1995. Simon holds a Ph.D. in BioChemical Engineering from UCL and completed further education at Cranfield School of Management in 2007.
