Bernd Knapp

Bernd Knapp is an experienced professional in procurement and logistics, currently serving as Head of Procurement/Service Units at Mediengruppe Wiener Zeitung since 2019. Prior roles include working with the United Nations in logistics and as an observer force, alongside managerial positions at Volkshilfe Wien and G4S. Bernd began a career in the insurance sector at D.A.S. Rechtsschutz-Versicherungs-AG after completing military service in the Austrian Armed Forces. With an academic background that includes a Magister iuris in Law from Johannes Kepler Universität Linz and an MBA from Middlesex University, Bernd also studied law during a semester abroad at Universidad Pública de Navarra.
