Dr Shahida Islam

Dr Shahida Islam has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Dr Shahida started their career in 2013 as a House Officer at Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust. Dr Shahida then worked as a Senior House Officer at various hospitals, including Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust, National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, NELFT NHS Foundation Trust, Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust, and Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. In 2016, they joined Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust as a Senior House Officer. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Functional Analyst at MAXIMUS UK. Dr Shahida then transitioned to the role of an Occupational Health Physician at Roodlane Medical from 2019 to 2020. Currently, they are working as an Occupational Health Physician at Medigold Health, starting from October 2020.

Dr Shahida Islam obtained a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Queen Mary University of London. Dr Shahida studied Medicine at the university from 2007 to 2013.
