Patricia M. Dekkers-Sánchez

Patricia M. Dekkers-Sánchez is an experienced Corporate Regional Occupational Health Physician at LyondellBasell since July 2019, specializing in implementing prevention programs and workplace interventions aimed at promoting employee health and safety. With a background in medical advice, consultancy, and training since January 2016, Patricia has also served as an Insurance Physician at UWV from 2002 to 2019, focusing on medical assessments for social security disability insurance. As a Senior Educator/Advisor in Insurance Medicine at the Netherlands School of Public & Occupational Health from 2013 to 2017, Patricia contributed to postgraduate education. A PhD researcher at the Coronel Institute of Occupational Health, Academic Medical Center, Patricia's thesis focused on the work ability of employees on long-term sick leave.
