Marnus Kruger

Marnus Kruger currently serves as Senior Manager: Legal, Risk and Compliance at Medihelp since August 2021, having previously held the position of Legal Advisor at the Government Employees Medical Scheme (GEMS) from February 2015 to August 2021, and at Medshield Medical Scheme from July 2011 to February 2015. Marnus began the legal career as a Candidate Attorney at Shepstone & Wylie from June 2009 to June 2011. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws (LLM) in Mercantile Law with a specialization in Insurance Law and Governance from the University of Pretoria, a Management Development certificate from Wits Business School, a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of South Africa, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Law from the same institution. Currently enrolled in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at Wits Business School, set to conclude in December 2026.
