Chad Boyer, CISSP, CISA has over 14 years of experience in the information security and compliance industry. From 2006 to 2010, they worked as a System and Network Administrator at Kiewit, where they designed and implemented local networks, including fiber ring networks and serial communications, and secured industrial control networks for major water and power plants in the greater Los Angeles area. From 2010 to 2015, they worked as an Information Security Officer at Wipro, where they provided consultation within the system development life cycle by way of risk assessment and recommendations for compliance with regulations [HIPAA/CMS] and security best practices, as well as Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity planning and testing. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a Senior Security Consultant at Coalfire Systems, Inc., where they acted as a third party assessor to a diverse set of healthcare clients including Fortune 500 companies, and was responsible for performance and delivery of HIPAA/HITECH and HITRUST validated assessments. Currently, they are the Director of Information Security and Compliance at MediKeeper, Inc., where they lead and manages the information security, compliance, and risk management programs, defines security processes to monitor security risks, and collaborates with and influences cross-functional teams to evaluate and develop recommendations for security architecture, tools and process improvements to prevent threats.
Chad Boyer has a background in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Western Governors University.
