Lalit Garg

Lalit Garg is a seasoned software engineering leader with extensive experience in healthcare technology, telecommunications, and software development. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Leader at MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc., Lalit leads teams in FDA-regulated health tech and AI & ML initiatives. Previously, Lalit held the position of Senior Leader in Software Engineering at Cisco Systems, where a focus on automating distributed mobile systems led to the successful delivery of a validated Private 5G solution. As the Director of Software Development and Quality Assurance at Avaya, Lalit generated significant savings and efficiency improvements through strategic consolidation and innovation. An earlier role as Engineering Division Head at Avaya India established a major engineering hub, while several key accomplishments at Avaya included significant reductions in time to market and customer escalations. Lalit holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from New Mexico State University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Shivaji University.
