Pete Downton

Pete Downton's work experience spans over a decade, starting from their role as Director of Cloud Services at Imagination Technologies in 2009. Pete then worked at 7digital from 2014 to 2019, where they served as Deputy CEO and later as Chief Commercial Officer.

In 2019, Pete started working as an advisor to the CEO and Founders at AudienceNet, a consumer and social research agency. Pete continued their advisory role at MQA Ltd., a company focused on developing technology for preserving high-quality digital audio.

From 2021 onwards, Pete has held various positions in different companies. Pete became the Chairman of Libera la Musica Oy, a marketplace supporting and empowering artists. Pete also joined MediMusic as a Board Member - Lead NxD, bringing the scientifically proven benefits of music to healthcare. Pete co-founded Centralized.me, a web application for artist management that provides structure and transparency to the music industry. Additionally, they became a Member of the Board of Trustees at Buckinghamshire Music Trust.

In 2022, Pete took on the role of Advisor to the Chief Executive Officer at Zaiko, a platform for artist fan engagement. Currently, they are working as part of Miquido's International Expansion team, contributing to their efforts in providing cutting-edge technology solutions to businesses.

Throughout their career, Pete has demonstrated a strong understanding of technology, music, and consumer engagement, making significant contributions to various organizations.

Pete Downton attended the University of Hull from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a BA Hons. degree in Business Studies. Their studies focused on the fields of Economics, Marketing, and Organisational Behaviour.
