Dave Kaufmann has a diverse work experience. Dave started their career in 2001 as an Intervention Specialist at Cuyahoga City Schools. Dave then worked as a Fourth Grade Teacher (2004-2010) and a 5th Grade Math Teacher (2010-2013) at Jefferson Local Schools. During this time, they also served as the Middle School Head Soccer Coach (2011-2013) and the Middle School Head Track Coach (2009-2013) at Jefferson Local School. In 2006, Dave worked as a Swim Coach at Dublin Recreation Department and continued until 2013. In 2013, they joined Medina City School District where they held various roles including Asst Swim Coach, Digital Media/Computers teacher, Project Lead the Way, and Information Technology Instructor. Additionally, they served as an Advisory Council member at SmartSocial.com starting from 2019. Dave also briefly worked as a Swim Coach at Fairlawn Swim and Tennis in 2014.
Dave Kaufmann has a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education (1-8) with a focus on all subjects from Mount Union College. Dave also holds a Master's degree in Exercise Science from The University of Akron. In addition, they obtained an endorsement in Computer/Technology Facilitator from Ashland University.
