Gregorio Galán Vélez

Gregorio Galán Vélez has diverse work experience in the finance sector. Gregorio began their career in 2009 as a Business Development Trainee at Openfinance. In 2013, they joined Repsol where they worked in Leverage, Debt Capital Markets, and Banking Relationship Management. Gregorio then joined Mediobanca in 2014, starting as a Lending and Structured Finance Analyst and progressing to roles such as Associate, VP, and currently holds the position of Director in the Lending and Structured Finance department.

Gregorio Galán Vélez obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) with a specialization in Finance from the University of Valencia from 2007 to 2012. Gregorio also pursued further studies in Finance at Copenhagen Business School from 2010 to 2011. Gregorio completed a Licenciatura en Economia from the University of Valencia from 2012 to 2014. During the same period, they also earned a Diploma Especialización Profesional Universitaria en Bolsas y Mercados Financieros, focusing on financial markets. In 2013, they attended Universidad Francisco de Vitoria for a Postgrado en Habilidades Directivas with a focus on management and communication skills. Prior to their university education, they completed their Bachillerato en Ciencias Tecnológicas at the American School of Valencia from 1992 to 2007.
