Gines Sanchez Urrutia

Gines Sanchez Urrutia has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Gines currently serves as the President of MEDIPAN,S.A since August 2023, as well as a Member of the Board of Directors since February 2018. Gines is also the President of Vanguard Medical Logistics since January 2020. In addition, Gines has held the position of President at Radiofarmacia de Centroamérica since October 2013.

Earlier in their career, Gines held the role of President at Promed, a regional value-adding distributor for major medical and laboratory devices manufacturers, serving Central America and the Caribbean. Gines was affiliated with Promed from November 1989 to the present.

Gines Sanchez Urrutia previously worked as the Sales and Marketing Manager at MEDIPAN,S.A from January 1984 to November 1989. Before that, they were involved in academia, serving as a Teaching Assistant and later as a Graduate Research Assistant at Virginia Tech from 1981 to 1982.

Gines started their career as an Engineer at IRHE from 1978 to 1980.

Gines Sanchez Urrutia completed an Executive Program on Growing Companies from Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2008. Prior to this, they pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech from 1982 to 1983. Gines'seducation journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Universidad de Panamá between 1976 and 1981.
