Charlotte Baker Msc

Charlotte Baker MSc, MBA has extensive experience in HR management and operations. Charlotte Baker has most recently served as the Head of HR - UK at Mediq since June 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Colas Ltd, where they held the positions of Head of HR and HR Business Partner - Northern and Central Regions from August 2018 to May 2023. In these roles, they played a key role in developing and implementing HR strategies to enhance business performance and culture. Charlotte Baker also led talent management, recruitment, and learning and development processes.

Before joining Colas Ltd, Charlotte worked as the Regional HR Manager at Pentagon Group from August 2017 to July 2018. In this role, they provided HR support and guidance to a large number of employees across multiple sites.

Charlotte's earlier experience includes being the HR Operations Manager at Responsible Solutions Ltd from July 2009 to August 2017. Charlotte Baker was responsible for the effective management of HR operations, including performance management, recruitment, and reward and recognition.

Furthermore, Charlotte has volunteered as a Business Expert at Working Knowledge, where they advised and supported young people in developing business strategies. Charlotte Baker also has previous experience as an HR Officer at the Driving Standards Agency, where they handled recruitment and general HR administration duties from February 2000 to July 2006.

Charlotte Baker holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in senior leadership from Bishop Grosseteste University, where they studied from 2020 to 2022. Charlotte Baker also obtained a Master's Degree (Commendation) in Human Resource Management from Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Trent University, from 2015 to 2017. Additionally, they completed a CIPD Human Resources Practice diploma from the same institution in 2014 to 2015. Currently, Charlotte is pursuing a PhD in Business Administration and Management, General from Nottingham Business School, with an expected completion date in 2024.
