Marieke Vermeulen

Marieke Vermeulen has five years of work experience. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as a Verkoper at Bakker Bart (Bart's Retail). From 2017 to 2019, they held two concurrent roles: Student-assistent at Technische Universiteit Eindhoven, where they supervised students with the courses Calculus, Applied sciences, Image acquisition and processing and Medical image analysis; and Examentrainer at Lyceo, where they prepared highschool students for their physics and mathematics final exam. In 2019, they became the Finance & PR manager at Blue Jay Eindhoven. Currently, they are a Product Support Specialist US & MR at Medis Medical Imaging.

Marieke Vermeulen is currently pursuing a Research Internship at Imperial College London in the Ultrasound Lab for Imaging and Sensing. Prior to this, they obtained a Master of Science in Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology in the field of Biomedical Engineering between 2019 and 2022. Marieke also holds a Bachelor's degree from Eindhoven University of Technology in the same field, which they obtained between 2016 and 2019. Additionally, Marieke has been certified with a C1 Advanced from Cambridge Assessment English.
