Deborah van Den Buijs

Deborah van den Buijs is an accomplished Interventional Cardiologist currently serving at Medisch Centrum Leeuwarden since July 2023. Previous experience includes a Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Ziekenhuis Oost-Limburg from September 2021 to July 2023, and a Cardiologist role at Rode Kruis Ziekenhuis and Cardiologie Centra Nederland from October 2020 to August 2021. Deborah also worked at Amsterdam UMC from March 2014 to June 2021, holding positions ranging from Cardiologist and researcher to Cardiologist in training and Resident in Cardiology. Initial training was completed at Kennemer Gasthuis, focusing on Cardiology and Internal Medicine from May 2012 to February 2014. Deborah obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Maastricht University between 2004 and 2012, with additional educational experiences at Sint-Janscollege, Universiti Sains Malaysia, and Universitas Sriwijaya.
