William Twigger

Head of Engineering and Quality at MediSieve

William Twigger has a diverse work experience spanning from 2008 to the present. William started their career with the Royal Air Force as an Officer Cadet, serving with the University of Birmingham Air Squadron for two years. After that, they worked as a Duty Manager/Climbing Instructor at Reading Climbing Centre, where they led climbing sessions and ensured customer safety.

In 2012, William joined First Water Limited, A Scapa Healthcare Company as an Apprentice in R&D, where they conducted early-stage product research and development. William then progressed to the role of Development Engineer and eventually became a Senior Development Engineer. During this time, they also contributed to a published article in WOUNDS.

In 2016, William moved to Baxter International Inc. as a Design Control Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for design control documentation, equipment commissioning and validation, and writing SOP documents. William received Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training and gained expertise in Zodiak Business Acumen, Cleaning Validation, and Computer System Validation.

Since 2017, William has been working at MediSieve. William started as a Product Engineer and later became the Head of Engineering. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Engineering and Quality.

Overall, William Twigger has a solid background in engineering and quality management, with experience in various industries such as healthcare, climbing, and the military.

William Twigger attended St John's School, Marlborough from 1999 to 2006, where they pursued their A Levels and GCSEs in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. Later on, they enrolled at the University of Birmingham from 2007 to 2010 and obtained a BEng Hons degree in Metallurgy and Materials Science.
