Zahid Butt

Zahid Butt is the current CEO at Medisolv. Zahid has previous experience as the Director of Clinical Information Systems at St. Agnes Healthcare from January 1995 to December 2000, and as the Chairman of the Care Management Committee at St. Agnes Healthcare from January 1990 to December 1994.

Butt's experience in clinical information systems helped St. Agnes Healthcare to achieve Stage 6 in the HIMSS EHR adoption model. Zahid also established a pilot program and implemented an Ambulatory Medical Record in a physician office. In addition, they spearheaded the development of the Hospital’s Intranet and its public Web site - which was even featured on the cover of Healthcare Intranet Report in April 1998.

Under Butt's leadership as Chairman of the Care Management Committee, the hospital's average length of stay was cut in half and its profitability reached record levels in 1994.

Zahid Butt's educational career began with a fellowship in gastroenterology and liver disease at the VA Medical Center/George Washington University in Washington, DC. Zahid then completed an internal medicine residency at the VA Medical Center/Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
